Operation Warm—more than a coat

Warm the Hearts, Minds & Bodies of Children Living in Need in the Clackamas County area

kidcoat2The Clackamas Sunrise Rotary Club is partnering with Operation Warm to provide high-quality, new winter coats to children in need within the Milwaukie, Clackamas & Gladstone areas. The gift of brand new coats not only provides warmth during cold winters, they help children to regularly attend school, play outside and enhance their self-esteem.

You can help us reach our Rotary clubs’s fundraising goal of $4,000 by donating online to Operation Warm or directly to the Sunrise Rotary Foundation Inc.. All donations will go directly towards children in need in our community. Keeping children safe and warm throughout the cold winter months can change lives.  And it starts with you.

Since 1998, Operation Warm has provided new winter coats to millions of children living in poverty across America. This gift goes beyond just staying warm, but empowers a child to greater self-confidence and peer acceptance at school. When you give to Operation Warm or partner with our nonprofit, you’re giving a child more than a coat; you’re telling a child who needs to hear it most:  “You’re worth it.”

kidcoat2You can help by giving to our Operation Warm fundraiser. Every $20 you give provides one additional child with a new winter coat. We receive our coats from Operation Warm, a 501(c)(3) charity that has provided new winter coats to 2 million children across North America.

With your help, we can give a gift of happiness & warmth to at least 300 local children living in need.
